Naughty and nice
February 3, 2010
This is one of the latest projects I have designed. We (direct marketing agency) were asked to create a greeting card which would be sent out to U-verse members and ask them to sign up for the Showtime premium package. Our client wanted a seasonal (Winter Holiday) themed card. This, along with Showtime’s more adult programming, was the basis for our design and execution.

Gorgeous photography stills of modern architecture interiors (mostly from Dwell Magazine) and brilliant sarcastic copywriting. Put the two together and you’ve got Unhappy Hipsters. Via swissmiss.
Originality is non-existent

I agree with that. I also think that everything you create — even if it’s and “exact” copy— is original. Somewhere in that “copy” there lies a difference, hence a brand new creation. Check out the poster below. If anyone knows who created it, please, let me know. Great quote from director Jim Jarmusch.
