Facebook and Ikea

This is pretty awesome idear. The fine folks at Forsman & Bodenfors (Gothenburg, Sweden) decided to created a marketing campaign using only Facebook and it’s applications. To promote the opening of a new Ikea store in Malmö, Sweden, they created a facebook profile of one of the managers and uploaded several pictures of Ikea showrooms. The idear was that the first person to tag their name onto an item would win said item for free. As you can image, what began with a few folks tagging themselves, quickly grew to thousands.
